Podere San Bartolomeo
Upon arrival to the centre of the estate, you pass through a large iron gate and then continue on a picturesque private lane, lined with a row of centuries-old cypress trees providing beneficial shade.
There are three buildings on the property: the main house ( not for rent ), made entirely of stone, of about 400 m2 , originating from the 1500s, according to a manuscript by Bishop Castelli of 1576, and two newer smaller houses (for rent), both with breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills and elegantly furnished in keeping with the country's rural tradition: Chiodoantico, of 60 m2 plus accessories, and Casadipietra, of 80 m2 plus accessories, both currently used for guest accommodation.
Great attention to the restoration, combined with respect for the building, its origins and the ancient materials present, has enabled the charm and simple, spontaneous character of the interior spaces to be preserved, making them flexible and perfectly functional.
The interior spaces are original, hand-made terracotta on the floors and the ceilings  with the typical wooden beams.
The whole complex is in perfect condition and the individual houses maintain full privacy for the inhabitants of each house.
A symphony of scents and enchanting views spread all around the estates.
The olive groves with 230 olive trees, which are particularly well cared for, produce extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality.
The wooded area, which was planted over 30 years ago, has become a lung of greenery and a natural habitat for wildlife and interesting plants, including edible mushrooms, and stretches along the private road to the property.
